Everything in Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortus borns from a dream, the one of the brave day-dreamer entrepreneur Stefano Magini. The rebirth of the medieval hamlet and the creation of a unique and one of the most fascinating accomodation structure in Italy is due to him. A place where nature, history, simplicity live together in the name of an evident luxury, but never too exaggerated or brash.
“I started coming and going from and to San Pietro when I was 20 years old, at that time it was just an abandoned village” Stefano Magini tells, who named his Borgo San Pietro recovery, restoration and renovation project “L’Italia che eravamo” (“The Italy we were“).
“Year after year, visit after visit – he continues –, the dream to revive this earthly paradise grew. I studied its nature, its fauna, its sounds, its smells, its colors, and more over, the people who live in the area, and they told me their stories, everyone linked to Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortus. So, one day I got on my Jeep, I left Rome behind me and I started the greatest adventure of my life…”. That is the restoration of Spao Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortus, reborn in 2005, after five years of works and renovations.
