SPAO Borgo San Pietro is a rare venue in Umbria capable of hosting large destination weddings. We can accommodate up to 300 guests outdoors in our panoramic gardens and historical courtyards. For indoor receptions and ceremonies, we have elegant halls with a capacity of up to 100 guests.

Accommodation: Can our wedding guests stay overnight at the Borgo?

Yes, this is one of our unique advantages. SPAO is a fully restored medieval village offering 23 luxury suites and independent apartments. We can provide overnight accommodation for approximately 100 guests directly on-site, ensuring the wedding party stays together in comfort and privacy.

Civil & Religious Ceremonies: s it possible to hold a legally binding ceremony at the venue?

Absolutely. SPAO is an official municipal house authorized to host legally binding civil ceremonies on-site. You can choose to marry in the deconsecrated medieval church, the panoramic square, or the gardens. For religious weddings, we are located near magnificent churches in Orvieto, Perugia, and Assisi.

Multi-Day Experience: Can we organize a multi-day wedding event?

SPAO is specifically designed for multi-day wedding events. We can curate a full wedding weekend itinerary including a welcome dinner, pizza nights, rehearsal brunches, and a farewell BBQ. Activities can also include yoga sessions, cooking classes, and wine tastings.
