Dream wedding in Umbria, the wedding weekend of T. & D. in Spao Borgo San Pietro

Spao Borgo San Pietro has hosted the wedding of T&D, a French couple who has chosen our borgo for their dream wedding in Umbria. A long wedding weekend full of love and experiences. Here we tell you how it was ❤

A relaxed and magical atmosphere, made of contagious happiness and smiles. A village all “dressed up”, thanks to floral settings which have been a hymn to nature, rows of lights and long imperial banquet tables in the main square of the village, with a view on the Umbrian hills.

All this at sunset, when the last sunrays meet and embrace the ancient walls and the untouched woods surrounding it.

In a summer night of absolute beauty, this is how the romantic love story between T. and D., two French newlyweds who chose SPAO Borgo San Pietro for their dream wedding in Umbria, was celebrated.

The dream wedding of T&D in Umbria

A four-days wedding celebration that has mobilized guests coming from all over the world, gathering them here where the green heart of Italy beats.

A long wedding weekend that has allowed T&D, their relatives and their friends to enjoy the Borgo at its fullest; but also to profit from food and nature beauties in a unique place as it is located between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio.

Their love and family fairy tale has begun with a welcome dinner in the Borgo San Pietro’s garden. It was an occasion for bride and groom to meet again with their friends and relatives coming from France, Australia, United States…

A July night spent sipping good wine and tasting typical traditional food of this area, made “the Italian way”, so by respecting the ancient local recipes.

The second day was spent diving into the en plein air pool of the village, walking into the woods and having a massage in the Spa of Spao Borgo San Pietro. The day’s perfect conclusion has been a dinner out of the village.

T&D and their guests went to San Casciano dei Bagni, where they had dinner at “Daniela”, a delicious restaurant with a view on the town’s square and which is surrounded by the immense landscape of Val d’Orcia.

The day after was the wedding day.

From France to Spao Borgo San Pietro

Their Jewish ritual wedding celebration has taken place in the garden of Spao Borgo San Pietro. The bride walked down the aisle with her father, surrounded by lots of kids.

At the end of the ceremony, they had a cocktail on the lawn and a dinner in the main square of the village, in two big imperial tables where almost 100 guests could seat.

Between the courses of a mixed seafood and vegetables menu, T&D together with their friends and family have had fun on the dance floor, with a part of the main square which was destined to music and partying.

The dreamy wedding in Umbria of T&D has come to its end on the 4th day, with a greeting breakfast and then the return of the newlyweds and their hosts to their home countries.

“It was not an easy wedding, but an experience that the newlyweds wanted to live and share with their loved ones”, the owners of Spao Borgo San Pietro say.

The 4 days organization went beyond the wedding day, providing moments, services and activities that allowed the couple and their guests to know a part of Italy.

“We made the entire village exclusively available for them, ensuring to give every family its apartment. So, every person could spend those days also profiting from privacy”, they say.

The wedding of T. and D. has been a journey from the welcome to the unique services offer, from the available activities to the leisure group moments, to the high-quality food and wine offer.

It has been a chance to live and breathe the most beautiful and authentic Italy, in the name of luxury.
